Big News: Glass Magazine Awards and More

The word is officially out, and we can finally make the announcement that Drafting Marketplace is the winner of the Glass Magazine R&D award for 2023.

It’s embarrassing how excited we’ve been to share this. It would be fun to play it cool and say, “oh, that? These kinds of things happen all the time,” perhaps paired with a nonchalant gesture to our wall full of glittering awards and more.  But the fact is, we’re still the new kids in town when it comes to industry tools. We may have other experience under our belts, but Drafting Marketplace as an entity has only been around for about 10 months. Less than a year. This is a huge deal for a project so young.

To have our humble platform mentioned in the same breath as incredible projects like the mind-blowing Alberni Street building in Vancouver, or the gorgeous Audrey Irmas Pavilion is a little unreal, not to mention the cool innovations represented in the products awards. Our enthusiastic congratulations go out to all of the winners. And of course, our deep thanks go out to the team at Glass Magazine and all of the folks who took the time to vote for Drafting Marketplace for this award. That support truly means a lot to us.

Tyler and Brandon have been working endlessly since GlassBuild of last year to build the Drafting Marketplace community and provide the kind of services and functionalities that make life easier for the glazing community. For our guys to officially accept this award at GlassBuild 2023 on the one-year anniversary of the project’s origin is monumental. There’s no other word for it. So we hope we’ll see all of you there to celebrate these awards and more. It’s going to be a great time. Plus you’ll want to be there to hear about our latest adventures. We’ll have a lot to talk about.

Oh. Did you think we were done?

This is a huge honor, but we don’t plan on just coasting on it from here forward. We’ve got something big around the corner. Follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram to stay in the loop.
